Molly Parker (Canadian actress) is known for her work in television and independent films. When she was just three, she began ballet lessons at the age of 14 and, when she reached her teens, she found her true passion in acting. She was in high school plays along with the Drama Club. Soon, her actor uncle introduced her to the agent, and she started going for auditions. After gaining experience, her small roles began appearing in films and TV series both in Canada and in the United States. Her role in the film "Kissed" that focused on a woman necrophiliac was the turning point in her life. She won the Genie Award as Best Actress in a Leading Role. The provocative film 'The Centre of the Earth', in that she was a part of and won her nominations for the Genie Award as Best Supporting actress. In the United States this versatile actress is famous for her role of a widow in the telecast series on cable called 'Deadwood. The television film "Serving In Silence...
