Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae singers. He was a part of the iconic film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his debut album, called like Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix), and Sensimelia. These all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees on Avenue in 1997. The song proved to be a massively hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first appeared at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley was the focus of bidding battles.
